ok so much to say and so little time, the holidays have come and gone and now that we are in a new yr., hopefully we can focuse on some goals that we truly want to improve. i am of course talking of me personally.

the rest of the fam. can speak for themselves :). we had a wonderful Christmas we spent time with my family as well as the Jeffery's, the kids got spoiled as well as shane and i. New Yr. was fun too. we had our traditional sleep over at my parents house new yr. eve, that is the one night that our kids are alowed to stay up past midnight.

we eat play games, bring in the new yr., and eat, and play some more, it's a blast! and then the kids got to have a play day at gramas house for the day, while shane and I came home and started to take down Christmas, to get ready for the new windows that came the following Tues. morn. I was so excited! putting in windows was the first home inprovement that we have been able to do with any of our houses that we have lived in. So it was very exciting.

We waited 16 yr. to be able to do this, and the wait was so worth it, i LOVE my new windows! they are not grid like the other ones were, and they look so much better. :) we can already feel the diference in the heat in the house. oh ya the other windows were so cold and drafty, and i hated it. whenever it was cold and windy out side you could feel it by the windows, not now and i love it.

ok now for a quick update on the kids.

Monica- she is now 15 and 1/2, she never lets you forget the 1/2 part she is so funny :) she is a sophmore now and is loving high school, she is involved in stuff again and is having so much fun. She decided to take Japanese this yr. for her foreign language class, i was suprised i thought that would be so hard, but she loves it so now i tell her that she will probably go on a mission to Japan :) and she doesn't agree. oh well she is having fun and that's all that matter's. She also has another big! crush, and it has been so fun to listen to her when she comes home and talks about him, she is trying to figure out right now if he likes her :) it's fun to listen and watch her go through this. She got her learner's permit last June and she loves to drive, Shane will sometimes let her drive to school in the early morn. hours, and sometimes she does and other times she won't. she is getting ready and anxious about taking drivers ed. oh Heaven help me! I am so not ready for this :( i thought by now i would be but im not :( but ready or not it's here and going to happen. She also has a really good friend from church that she goes to steak dances with, and she has so much fun with that as well :) and then she comes home and tells us albout the dances. She is growing up to fast for me and i don't like it but that's the way it goes.
